Award winning landscape photographer, Karl Strand, guides you through the fundamental skills involved in landscape photography.


Designed to provide instruction on how to capture a photograph in different aspects of landscape photography, as well as photography “physics” and understanding the relationship between a camera’s settings and the light entering the lens.


The course has been broken into four parts to allow the student to absorb detailed information in bite size chunks, so as not to overwhelm or discourage the novice.

The programme is presented as a virtually narrated video presentation, by Karl Strand, made available via online streaming.


The presentation style makes use of a range of techniques to effectively communicate various aspects of course content. These include:
